Muppets Collection ~ OPI Warm & Fozzie

Picture Courtesy of The Muppets (Disney)
Hi Everyone,
I do have another lacquer from the OPI Muppets Collection! I hope your not getting tired of them because I like the Muppets and writing a little bit about some of the Muppets.

Warm & Fozzie is named after Fozzie Bear who is the comedian out of the Muppets. His catchphrase is wocka, wocka, wocka, which is another lacquer in the collection that I will swatch soon.

Warm & Fozzie is a light gray base with gold and bronze micro-glitter but sometimes in the light the bronze glitter looks purple!

Take a look:

I really like this and I’m not a fan of browns, bronze, and sometimes not even gold but this one is good.
I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of base coat. Do you have any of The Muppets Collection?

One more thing; SPRINKLES CUPCAKES! You know I love cupcakes and I hardly ever get these gems, the closest one is 300 miles away. I house/pet sat and got these in return. The one on the left is salted caramel and the other is black and white. If you are ever near a sprinkles you really should pick one up the are so delish!

OPI Meep – Meep – Meep ~ The Muppets Collection

Picture Courtesy of The Muppets (Disney)

Howdy,
Today I have another lacquer from OPI Muppets Collection; Meep – Meep – Meep. If you don’t know what Meep – Meep – Meep is, it’s a high pitched squeak that Beaker says because he is just too nervous to talk. Beaker is the shy and long-suffering assistant of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. He is in the picture above in the bottom right-hand corner.

On to the lacquer!  It’s a beautiful magenta base with bright pink micro-glitter, a gorgeous shimmer.

Take a look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. This lacquer is sheer, I could have put on another coat. It is so pretty that I hated to change it. The formula was nice and it wore very well. What do you think?

Kendall On The Katwalk ~ Nicole By OPI Kardashian Kolor Holiday

Hi Everyone,
Yay Blue Monday! I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! I did but, I do have to say while cleaning up I broke 2 nails and 1 is really bad! Bare with me as it grows out, you will notice it!

Today I have 1 of the Nicole By OPI Kardashian Kolors Holiday. I do have to say these are really hard to get. I went to Walmart just to purchase these and when I got there they didn’t have them. I went back 2 days later and they had like 3! They had the Kort Is Ready For A Pedi (orange), Kimpletely In Love (very sheer pink) and Kendall On The Katwalk; that is the only one I was feeling.

This one is a sheer blue base with purple, green, and blue glitter!

Take a look:

I really like this lacquer but I had a little bit of trouble applying it because of the small brush and all of he glitter. It was just too much glitter for that little brush but, it wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t buy this lacquer. You can still purchase these at Walmart or online. It’s so pretty. Have you purchased/found any of this Kollection?

Very Merry Berry ~ Color Club Scent-suous

Hi All,
Yes I have another Color Club scented lacquer! I only have 1 more after this. Very Merry Berry is a clear base with small bright blue shiny glitter and large bright shiny purple glitter. It smells like berry, what kind I don’t know but, it smells good; not overpowering and really I don’t notice the smell just going about my day.

Here it is:

In the pictures it looks like I missed spots but I didn’t. There is lacquer there. I’m not gonna lie, this was hard to apply and really hard to apply evenly! I still think it is such a fun lacquer. I would wear this again, maybe over another color next time. I am wearing 2 coats and a top coat. Does this look like a holiday lacquer?

Twinkle Lights ~ China Glaze

Hi Lacquer Lovers,
Today I have a very Christmas-y lacquer. When I saw China Glaze's Twinkle Lights, I just had to have it. It is such a nice shimmery glitter. I usually don't buy China Glaze because I have a hard time keeping it from chipping. I just had to give this one a try.
Twinkle Lights is mostly a gold micro-glitter with some red and green micro-glitter.

Here it is:

I am wearing 3 coats. Let me say that I was so excited to swatch this and take pictures that I forgot to put on a top coat! I think it would have shined even more if I did. This formula went on easily and it dried really fast but, I do have to say that it did chip the next day. Maybe I should try another base coat but, I really don't want to have buy or use a different base coat. Maybe someone will give me a suggestion? What do you think of this or do you have a different holiday glitter you like to wear?

Color Club ~ Kiss Me Mistletoe ~ Scent-suous

Hi Everybody!

This should be a short work week because of Thanksgiving! I have another lacquer from Color Club Scent-uous; Kiss Me Mistletoe. It's a really pretty green with gold and silver micro-glitter. I really thought that this one would look like a foil but it didn’t.

Take a look:

I like this color but, it didn’t shimmer or foil like I thought it would because of the way it looks in the bottle. I also did not really like the smell. I don’t think I know what mistletoe smells like but, this lacquer smelled like a bad holiday/cheap pine candle or like a stinky pine room freshener. Thank goodness that it wasn’t a strong smell and I really didn’t notice it as I wore it. I do have to say that this Color Club lacquer wears very well. I am really hard on my nails and I have been wearing it for 4 days and no chips. I am wearing just 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.
Is this a shimmer or a foil to you?

Color Club Gingerbread Man ~ Scent-suous

Hi All,
Today I have another Color Club scented lacquer. This one is Gingerbread Man and you guessed it, it smells like gingerbread.
I love the smell of gingerbread during the holidays so I was excited to try this one!
This is a really pretty lacquer; it is almost a yellow but also almost a gold. To me it is champagne color. It’s a foil with shimmer.

See:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I went on nicely but it took a little bit longer to dry than the Santa’s Cinnamon. I really like it and will be wearing it again probably for Christmas. If you are wondering YES it smells amazing and it’s not overpowering!
Well what do you think? Have you found any scented lacquers?

OPI ~ Designer…..De Better! The Muppets Collection

Hi Everyone!
Here is another from the The Muppets Collection by OPI; Designer….De Better. This is a foil-like lacquer that isn’t really a silver or a bronze, it looks more like a taupe. The base is clear with silver and bronze micro-glitter.

Take A Look:

It is so beautiful! It is so shimmery inside or outside. It is so glamorous and could be worn at special occasions or all the time. It is a very unique lacquer. This is one of the nicest formulas. It went on very smoothly and had even coverage and dried quickly. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I like it. What do you think?

Color Club ~ Santa's Cinnamon ~ Scented!

Hi All,
I went to Sally's Beauty Supply the other day and found Color Club there! I know that they sell the nail art items but I’ve never seen lacquer there.
This collection is called Scent-suous Holiday. There are 6 lacquers in this line and they are all scented!
Unfortunately when I went to Sally's there were only 4 out if the 6 but I will go and check Sally's again this week to see if they got anymore in. The display was really small and only held about 12 lacquers, which is 2 of each! Not a lot.
So, since I never heard of this collection I went home and went to their website and couldn't find anything about this collection so I googled it and also found nothing. Oh well, I’m just glad I was able to pick them up.
I have swatched Santa's Cinnamon, a bright red jelly base with red glitter and you guessed it smells of cinnamon.
Take a look:

This is a really a nice lacquer formula. It went on nicely and dried quickly and it smelled of cinnamon, actually exactly like Hot Tamales, the candy yum! I am wearing 2 coats and a top coat and I wore it 4 days before I took these pictures and it still looks good. My only complaint is that I wish it was more of a sparkly glitter. I hope Sally's will continue to sell Color Club because I like it and it's convenient. Do you have any scented lacquers?
