Diva Of Geneva ~ OPI

Hey,
Today I have OPI’s Diva Of Geneva. I don’t even remember where or when I got this one and it wasn’t in my un-trieds. Oh well, the good thing is that I have it and can share it with you!
OPI calls Diva Of Geneva a pink/red. I really don’t see pink, even though there is pink shimmer that you can see in the bottle. I see the red but, it also looks like burgundy. To me it is a light red base with gold and pink shimmer. It’s beautiful!
See:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I give it a high score. I think this is really pretty and a good color for the fall or winter months. Maybe even a good for a pedi. Do you think this is a pink/red?

Trafalgar Square ~ Nails Inc ~ Magnetic Polish

Hi Everyone,

No Blue Monday today but I am blue about this magnetic lacquer!
I got Nails Inc Trafalgar Square from my sister because I won’t pay more than $8 for a lacquer, anything more than that is just too much!

It was so nice of her to get it for me! So late last night I decided to try it and was already to paint my nails and I opened up the directions on the lid and guess what? They were in French! It was after midnight and my laptop was downstairs so I didn’t go to the website and get the instructions! My sister told me when she gave me the lacquer that the girl at the store told her you put on a coat and wait a few seconds and then you put on the second coat and quickly use the magnet. That’s what I did and it really didn’t work and the next day I found out that those were the wrong directions.
The lid comes off and the magnet is on top with a lip that you put above your nail to keep it from hitting your nail. My pictures appear to be blurry but they really aren’t, that is how the lacquer looks.

See what you think:

Let me say this was kind of hard to do. I kept hitting my nails with the magnet and the magnet didn’t work on my entire nail as you can see on one of my nails it only worked on half. I found out after I went to the Nails Inc website that you put a coat on and let it dry a couple of minutes and then put the 2nd coat on and then quickly use the magnet. Even so I think this will take some practice to get this looking good and not hitting the magnet on your nail. I don't know if I am into this magnetic lacquer trend.
I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. Is this magnetic lacquer for you or not? Do you have any tips on using it?

Purple-Xing ~ Nina Ultra Pro Glitter!!

Hey Everyone,

Why haven’t I worn Nina Ultra Pro lacquer before?  I don’t know! The last time I went to Sally’s for some reason I looked at the Nina display, which I guess I never do and saw this gem Purple-Xing.
It’s a purple base with holographic round glitter! Do I need to say more! It’s so gorgeous! I had so many good pictures, I had to post alot of them.

Take a look:

I am just wearing 2 coats and a 1 coat of top coat. It was a little thick but easy to apply and it dried fast. I wore it for several days and didn’t get a chip and it looked good. I love glitter and anyone else who does this one is for you! I will be purchasing more Nina. What do you think glittery enough?

Steady As She Rose ~ OPI

Hi,
I don’t wear a lot of light lacquer colors let alone pinks but, I saw Steady As She Rose by OPI at Ulta the other day and I thought it looked kind of pretty in the bottle, why not?
The reason why I don’t wear colors that are nude/neutrals because with my olive skin it sometimes looks to me like my nails are painted with whiteout! I did ended up really liking this. Steady As She Rose is a very light rose crème color shade that almost looks like a light lavender.

Take A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was really nice and it dried quickly. I actually got a lot of complements on this lacquer. This is about as nude/neutral that I will go without thinking it looks like whiteout. So what do you think? Does this look like rose, lavender, or whiteout?

Blue Monday ~ Nicki Minaj's Fly ~ OPI

Hi All,
I am feeling better but still under the weather. Today I have Fly from the Nicki Minaj collection from OPI.
I was so excited to get this collection and I got all of them but Pink Friday because I’m not a big pink fan and the promo pics made it look like pepto bismol and I was feeling it.
OPI calls Fly an aqua but I call it a bright blue crème. To me it’s not a true teal because there isn’t a lot of green and I see a little green in teal. I did notice that in the shade it looks more teal.

See what you think:

Let me say that I really love this color but with that said let me say that this lacquer formula was bad. It was so thin and runny! I had a hard time applying it and it also took a long time to dry! I wonder if anyone else had this problem? That won’t keep me from wearing it. This color is something I will wear over and over. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. What do you think the color is blue or teal?

Wet N Wild Craze ~ Plenty Of Fish In The Sea ~ We Need To Talk (crackle)

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven’t posted for awhile, I have the flu! My meds have made me so sleepy and added with not feeling good, I just can’t do anything but sleep. Hopefully next week I will be better and can post more!

I went to the store to pick up something really quick and walked by the cosmetics and saw a Wet N Wild display. I didn’t pay attention much to what the display was I just saw the pretty lacquer and grabbed 2 that I thought were pretty!

When I got home I then noticed that the lids looked like crackle! So I started just to put it on my nails randomly. So the pictures I have are kind of spam of the crackle!

First up Plenty Of Fish In The Sea:

I know everyone is tired of the crackle but I still secretly love it. I really love this Wet N Wild lacquer! I really love the glitter and they are so shiny! It was only $2.50 and it’s a lot of fun. I am wearing it with a top coat. It went on nicely and in my opinion it is as good as the expensive lacquers. What do you think, tired of crackle?

Mira ~ Zoya and My 100th Post!

Hi Everyone,

Wow this is my 100th post! I can't believe I have posted that much! Thanks to all that follow or visit my little blog and look!
I got Mira on my last Zoya purchase a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier about it. I love purple about as much as blue.
Mira is a crème. It’s a dark purple that’s not too dark and not so dark that it looks black and not purple. It is a bluish purple, almost a royal purple.

See:

This is going to be one of my favorites. I think this one would be so good to wear in the spring/summer. It’s so cheerful! I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was so good, it dried very quickly. What do you think, is this a spring/summer lacquer or one you could wear anytime?

Riff-Raff ~ Jesse’s Girl

Hi All,

Today I am stepping out of my comfort zone and I'm posting a brown lacquer. I am not a big brown fan but, I am trying to explore more colors that I usually shy from.

Riff-Raff is a very shiny lacquer. It’s a brown base with a gold/copper shimmer. It is pretty but I think there are other colors I would rather wear!

See what you think:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was good. I had a hard time getting a good picture of Riff-Raff because it is so shiny. You really can't see the gold/copper shimmer. It didn’t dawn on me to take a picture of the lacquer maybe without a top coat. I think the top coat made it over the top shiny. This is a great brown to try and it was only $2.50, you can’t go wrong. So do you like brown lacquer?
