Cute Little Vixen ~ OPI

 

Hi,

Today I have Cute Little Vixen from OPI’s Mariah Carey holiday collection. I didn’t get a chance to wear it around the holidays but I am sharing it now. OPI calls it a red/violet base, I can see that but I would call it mulberry with a gold shimmer.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was great and it dried quickly. It is so pretty! I would wear this year round. Does it just scream holidays?

DS Jewel ~ OPI Designer Series

 

Yay Friday!!

OPI has a DS (Designer Series) line of lacquer that has diamond dust and a breakthrough and state-of-the art formula. I selected DS Jewel from the collection because it looked like a color I wouldn’t normally select. It’s a light sienna colored base with copper shimmer.

I am wearing 3 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was good and it dried quickly. Jewel is ok I am not that excited about it. The one good thing about it is that it is a good color for fall. I am a little disappointed because it is supposed to have diamond dust and I don’t really see it. What do you think?

Vio-Let’s Talk About Red ~ Nicole By OPI

 

Yay Friday!
This one is from the untrieds! Nicole By OPI’s Vio-Lets Talk About Red is a violet with purple micro glitter shimmer. It’s pretty but a little boring.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I think maybe I could have used another coat. I take my pictures in the natural light and don’t do touch ups and you can see a little bit of red which makes it pretty. Is this boring?

Magazine Cover Mouse ~ OPI

Magazine Cover Mouse is the liquid sand from OPI Couture de Minnie Collection. It is a red base with bright pink and gold glitter.  I have been loving the liquid sands but I’m on the fence with this one.

I am wearing base coat and 2 coats of polish. It was a good formula and dried quickly.  It's ok but I am disappointed in the glitter. The bottle looks like it would have a lot of shimmer but it doesn't have enough for me. What do you think does it need more glitter?

4th Of July Mani

 

Happy 4^th Of July!

I tried to do some nail art! I know! I did a red, white, and blue gradient mani with Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond over it. I think it turned pretty good for my first time doing this and this is my first try! This is it with no do overs!

I used just basic red, white, and blue from previous posts. I applied it with a makeup sponge. I do have to say that it gets on your cuticles and fingers. I kept applying until I got the color I wanted then I applied Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond.

Jinx ~ OPI ~ Bond Girls

Hi,

Another Liquid Sand! Jinx is an orange crelly liquid sand with some gold glitter that gives it shimmer. I like orange but I'm not a big orange fan but I really love Jinx!

I am wearing 2 coats over base coat. The formula was really good and it dried very quickly. I just love these liquid sand lacquers because they are matte with quite a bit of shimmer. I would like to see one in a periwinkle with some shimmer. What color would you like to see?

The Impossible ~ OPI

 

Hi,

Time for another liquid sand! I love these! The Impossible is from the Mariah Carey Collection by OPI. They call it a fuchsia but I think it is more of a muted or dull red. It has star confetti/glitter in it! Just the kind of thing I like.

I am wearing base coat and 2 coats of polish. It went on easy and dried really fast but I do have to say it chipped on the 2^nd day of wearing it. I have seen where people say they have a hard time removing the liquid sand but I haven’t, have you?

The Color Of Minnie ~ OPI

I have another one from the Vintage Minnie Mouse collection from OPI. The Color Of Minnie is a blue-red with a pearl finish. It’s very shiny and pretty!

I don’t wear or have a lot of reds but this one is a must have. Do you like this one or do you have another favorite red?

From A To Z-urich ~ OPI

Hi Everyone!

I saw From A To Z-urich at the store the other day and decided to pick it up because I don’t have anything like this color. This one is from the Swiss Collection. It’s a shiny crème. OPI calls it a ruby shade; I think I agree with that. It’s very pretty.
