Nicole by OPI Dandy Lion

Hey,
Today I have Dandy Lion by Nicole by OPI. I’ve seen this a lot in all of the stores and would always look at it and think should I buy that but, would I wear it?  Well, I just bit the bullet and bought it. 1 reason is because it just looks really summer-y to me right now.

I thought it would be really bright and obnoxious but it really wasn’t. It’s a really nice yellow with a gold shimmer.

I have on 2 coats and top coat. Would you wear this color?

Nicole by OPI You’re S-Teal the One

Hey,
I know it’s been awhile but it has been so hot and I’ve been using that as an excuse to be lazy!
I just happened to run across this Nicole by OPI polish and thought I kind of like that. Well when I opened it up to put it on I thought WOW! I really like this one! It looks much better on than in the bottle, the bottle doesn’t do it justice.

I really love the shimmer in this one and shimmer is my favorite next to glitter.
My only complaint is with Nicole is this “new perfect stroke brush". I think this brush is awkward and too short of a length. I have about 10 bottles of Nicole with the new brush and I still can’t get used to the brush.
I know everyone (including me) is getting tired of the crackle/shatter but I put China Glaze Crushed Candy on my thumb to see what it would look like, I just wasn’t in the mood to do all of them, and I have to say I like it even though I’m tired of the crackle/shatters.

What do you think about this?

OPI/Ulta Exclusive Sparkle Teal Sunrise

Hi Happy Friday,

So I saw that OPI has an exclusive with Ulta that if you buy $17.00 worth of OPI products you get one of the Shimmer Into Summer collection polishes free. The collection is 3 teal/blue shades and 1 silver glitter shade. The colors are: How You Blue-in, I’m a Aqua-holic, Sparkle Teal Sunrise, and Glitter-ally. I chose Sparkle Teal Sunrise because I don’t have anything like it. I do have to say I was torn between that and Glitter-ally. I really tried to stay away from the other 2 only because I have so much teal/blue already but, they looked really nice though.

Sparkle Teal Sunrise:

I have 2 coats below of Sparkle Teal Sunrise and it’s a nice formula and went on nicely. It is a green-teal sheer base with lots of gold, blue, and green glitter.

I also decided to pair it with What’s With the Cattitude?

I think it looks great. I have 2 coats of What’s With The Cattitude? on and one coat of Sparkle Teal Sunrise. I think this is my favorite look!
I do have to say I’m having second thoughts about not getting Glitter-ally. I think I will go to this Ulta store that is in another town (that isn’t as busy as the one by my house) and see if I can still get it. I still think I made a good selection. Did you get any of these OPI Ulta polishes?

Orly Pin-Up Bubbly Bombshell

Hi all,
I know you are saying Orly Bubbly Bombshell has been out for awhile. I have had it and 2 others from this collection and honestly I just wasn't in the mood to wear it yet but now I'm thinking why did I wait?
This is a bright neon purple-pinky glitter polish how can you go wrong? You know I love glitter.

The only thing is I had to put on 3 coats to get it like this. This is a fun and cheerful polish and i love it. What do you think?

Moon Struck Color Changing Nail Polish

Hey Lacquer Lovers,

YAY its Saturday! I have a fun swatch today. Have you ever checked out at little boutique or a fun little just costume jewelry store and saw the mood color changing nail polish? Me too, so I decided to get some and see what happens. I know not much but what fun. They had 3 colors to choose from pink, purple, and green. I selected green. It is suppose to turn yellow when my “mood changes” or I'm warm.

So here we go:

Cold hands:

Warm hands:

Hot hands:

This polish was really thin and runny. It was kind of hard to apply. I had to put 3 coats on and I probably could have put on more but I though maybe if I put too much on it wouldn’t work correctly. I just think this is fun and wanted to try it one time. Have you ever tried this?

Essence Fairytale Nail Polish

Happy Friday Lacquer lovers!
Today I have essence nail polish. This is the first time I have seen or tried this brand, the display caught my eye. These are from the fairy tale limited edition line.

There are 6 polishes in this line but the display I saw only had 2 colors left: Humpty Dumpty and Once Upon a Time. First up is the Once upon a time. It is a red with red and gold shimmer.

The color is very pretty. It’s a nice red but probably best for the holiday time or winter.

The next color is Humpty dumpty. It is a very pretty taupe shimmer with silver flecks in it.

It’s very nice It could be worn everyday but the simmer makes it very exciting but not over the top. All have 2 coats and also a base and top coat.

La Splash Cosmetics Diamond Dust Crystallized Glitter

Hi All,
Today I have La Splash Diamond Dust mineral eye shadow or body/face glitter in 5 colors. About a year ago I saw a display at a store for nail glitter and decided to buy and try it. It happened to be La Splash cosmetics nail glitter. I never heard of this company but the nail glitter looked so good.
I just love glitter and have noticed women wearing it as eye shadow or as a liner that gets lighter as it goes toward your eye crease. I love the look and tried several types of shadow with no luck until I ran across this diamond dust glitter. Below Left to Right: Golden Smoke, Renaissance, Phenomenon, (bottom row) Gaudy, and Golden Tangerine.

So I bought several and also noticed a eye shadow sealer base so I grabbed that too.

The colors I have are: Gaudy (it looks like crushed diamonds,(Golden Smoke (black and gold glitter), Golden Tangerine (tangerine, gold, and silver glitter), Phenomenon (Dark & light purple glitter), and  Renaissance (gold glitter).

Below: Gaudy and Golden Smoke:

I'm sorry these pictures really don’t do this glitter justice, they are much more stunning! I put this on with the using a square flat eye liner brush or an angled brush. You could even use a q-tip. You have to put the glitter on while the sealer is wet. It lasts a long time once applied. Its also affordable around $8.00 each. I give this a 5 out of 5. Have you tried this product or any other glitter product?

OPI SERENA GLAM SLAM: England Grape…Set…Match & Servin' Up Sparkle

Hey Lacquer Lovers,
Today I have OPI Serena glam slam collection England in Grape...Set...Match. I went to the Ulta store and happened to see it. That was the first time I saw any of the Grand Slam Collection at Ulta so I picked it up. I have 2 of the other sets: Glam Slam Australia and Glam Slam France.

I really didn't think I would love this collection as much as my favorite collection Glam Slam Australia but I was wrong! I really love the Grape ...Set...Match! It is a luscious, metallic, shimmery, purple. It is a rich purple with shimmery flecks of pink, purple and blue, gorgeous!

Grape...Set...Match

The Servin Up Sparkle is a silver glitter polish with large pieces of glitter. To me it is the same as Sparke De Triomphe but in silver.

Then I have both of them together and I have to say its nice. It reminds me of something very cosmic. Its very flashy and would great for a party or a night out on the town. I really like grape....set...match alone or with servin up sparkle.

I used 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat on all except with the grape..set..match with the servin up sparkle together I used only 1 coat of servin up sparkle. The formula is great on both and it isn't shear, 2 coats were fine for a base coat. I give it 4 out of 5.
