Myrta ~ Zoya

Hi all,

Zoya’s Myrta is an orange base with gold and silver shimmer. Zoya says it looks almost like a foil but it doesn't look like a foil to me.

I am wearing 2 coats with 1 coat of top coat. This time the formula was good not like with Zuza. It dried quickly. It has a lot of shimmer, which I like. I’m not a big orange fan but I like this color although to me it’s not spectacular. Do you consider this a foil?

The Color Of Minnie ~ OPI

Hi,

I have another one from the Vintage Minnie Mouse collection from OPI. The Color Of Minnie is a blue-red with a pearl finish. It’s very shiny and pretty!

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was great and it dried quickly. So far I am impressed with the Vintage Minnie Collection, Disney and OPI have done a good job! I don’t wear or have a lot of reds but this one is a must have. Do you like this one or do you have another favorite red?

Metamorphosis ~ Color Club ~ Blue Monday

Hey,

It’s Blue Monday! Is teal considered blue? I love this Color Club Metamorphosis from the take Wing Collection. I like all of these from that collection!
Metamorphosis is a blue/green base with light blue shimmer. Like the others in this collection, it is very shiny packed full of shimmer.

I am wearing 2 coats and one coat of top coat. The formula was great and it dried quickly. It is so pretty. I really like it. I think it is close enough to be part of Blue Monday. What do you think?

I’m All Ears~ OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection

Happy Friday!

I have another lacquer that I have to put on my top 10 of 2012 list! That puts me at 5 which means I only have 5 more for the rest of the year.

I am not a big Minnie fan but I am a big Mickey fan but I still love these lacquers so far!

I’m All Ears is what I would call a candy mani/glitter sandwich in one bottle! It’s a magenta jelly shimmer. I love it!

I am wearing 2 coat and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was so nice and dried quickly. This shimmer is to die for. Oh I wish OPI will put out more Disney lacquers! The possibilities are endless on what they could come up with. Do you love this and do you think it is a candy/glitter mani?

Can’t Be Tamed ~ Orly

Hi,

Can’t Be Tamed is from Orly’s Flash Glam FX Collection that came out a couple of weeks ago. They are all glitters. There are supposed to be 22 in the collection but so far just 5 have been released. Orly suggests that you layer them over black.

I only bought one to try because honestly I have a lot of glitter lacquers and none of these really stood out as unique or different from what has been out already. This one is a clear base with shiny purple glitter with small shiny silver glitter.  I layered mine over OPI’s Black Onyx.

I am wearing 2 coats of Black Onyx, 2 coats of Can't Be Tamed, and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was great. It was very shiny too. I like this lacquer but as I said before this has been done. These are also expensive, $10.00. Hopefully they will have more unique lacquers in the next release. What do you think, have you seen these done before?

Zuza ~ Zoya ~ Blue Monday

Hey Everyone,

It’s Blue Monday! I just ordered and received Zuza from Zoya. I like this color but I had a really hard time with this lacquer!

Zuza is from Zoya’s last collection Beach And Surf. It’s a Turquoise, in between a blue and a green. It’s a has silver and gold micro glitter. It’s almost a foil.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I was so disappointed with the formula on this!! My first coat was so thick; it was like it was really old. After my first coat I had to add lacquer thinner. It was better after I did that but it took a long time to dry. I did polish them before I went to bed and the next morning it was coming up on the sides and top of my nails. The tips were also chipping. You can see in the pics but I tried to pick some that didn’t show it. Have you ever had an irritating problem with a new lacquer?

My Boyfriend Scales Walls ~ Shatter The Scales ~ OPI

Hello!

I have another one from the Spiderman Collection from OPI; My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I forgot that I ordered this one and I was scared to even wear it because I was afraid it would look like white out on me. I actually like this one. I don’t think it looks like white out well, maybe a little! It is a slightly gray, white crème lacquer.

I am still not feeling the Shatter The Scales! I don't know why. Maybe the color? Do you think My Boyfriend Scales Walls looks like white out? Do you like the Green Shatter?

Number One Nemesis ~ Shatter The Scales ~ OPI

Hey All,

I have a couple more from the OPI Spiderman Collection. Number One Nemesis is a pretty and different graphite. It’s a gray base with gold, olive, and silver micro glitter. I like this one but it’s hard to capture with a camera. Shatter The Scales is a hunter green shimmer shatter.

Shatter The Scales:

I like this Shatter The Scales but I don't think I like it with Number One Nemesis and I don't think I will like it with anything in the Spiderman Collection. What do you think this shatter would go with? What do you think of these?
