Blue Monday~ I Don’t Give A Rotterdam ~ OPI

Hi All,

It’s Blue Monday and today I have I Don’t Give A Rotterdam from OPI’s Holland Collection. It’s a steel blue with silver shimmer.

Take  A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats and one coat of top coat. It went on very easily and smoothly. It dried very quickly. I do like this color but I really don’t see this as a spring color, I see it more as a late summer or early fall color. Do you see this as a spring color?

Through The Grapevine ~ Wet N Wild

I have another great Wet N Wild! When I hear Through The Grapevine I don’t think of this pinkish purple color. I do like this color though! It is a very shiny crème.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of topcoat.  I still like the Pro Manicure brush. The formula was great and it dried quickly. This is a great bargain for $2.00! How would you describe this color?

Mysterious Curse ~ Orly ~ Dark Shadows Collection

Hi All,

Today I have lacquer that will be going on my Top 10 for 2012: Mysterious Curse from Orly’s Dark Shadows Collection. As for Dark Shadows, I only know that it was a TV show and now it’s been made into a movie with Johnny Depp. Mysterious Curse is a purple/blue Duo chrome with a lot of shimmer! It’s so pretty!

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I do have to say it was a little thicker than Orly’s usual formula but it still dried fairly fast. I love love love this one!! It’s so cool how it goes from purple to blue in different light. Do you like this one and should it go on the top 10 for 2012 list?

After Party ~ Orly

It’s Blue Monday! I was so excited when I heard about Orly’s Feel The Vibe Collection! It is Orly's collection for summer. I was so happy to pick up some of it (4) last Friday. Of course I had to wear the blue/black one first. After Party is a black base with duo-chrome glitter in blue and purple . There is so much blue glitter it looks dark blue.

Here it is:

I really like this but I don’t see how it goes with the rest of the collection. The rest of the collection is neon plus it doesn’t seem very “summer” to me. With that said I still like it and probably won’t wear it until fall or winter. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I do have to say the formula was a little thicker than Orly’s formula usually is but it worked out.  So what do you think, is this one that you would wear in summer?

Pretty In Pink ~ CQ

I got this CQ Lacquer the last time I was in California, at Rite-Aid. I like this line; it’s very affordable, $2.00. I selected a color that I don’t wear a lot; pink! Pretty in pink is a basic pink crème with a lot of shine.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I like this but I have to say it’s not my favorite only because I'm not into pink that much so if I do like one it has to have something to wow me and draw me in. How much do you like pink?

Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window ~ OPI

Hi Everyone!

I have one from the untrieds today! This is from the Touring America Collection from OPI.  I don’t know why I skipped over this one because when I first got it I really liked the way it looked in the bottle. This one is a crème. I would call it a olive or a army green. I don’t remember ever seeing a color like this one.

Nothing Kim-Pares To Blue ~ Nicole By OPI ~ Blue Monday

Happy Blue Monday! Today is a true Blue Monday because I really love this lacquer but at the same time I dislike it! I was so excited to find Nicole By OPI’s Nothing Kim-Pares To Blue that I rushed home and put it on! In the bottle it looks like a bright baby blue shimmer but when you put it on its more of a periwinkle blue. I really wanted this one because it was blue and had a lot shimmer.

I painted my nails the night before, right before I went to bed. As I was taking pictures the next morning I noticed that it looked like it was starting to chip by my cuticles. After I got done with the pictures I pulled on one of my nails and the whole nail lacquer came up in one piece! Not just one but all 10!

 I am wearing 1 coat of OPI base coat, 3 coats of lacquer, and 1 coat of top coat. I really love this color and I will try it again! I really want this to go on my list for top 10 of 2012. Have you had this problem and would you wear this one again?

Riveting ~ China Glaze

I have another lacquer from the China Glaze Hunger Games Capitol Collection.  I only got 2 from this collection. Riveting is a bright orange with a lot of gold micro glitter and shine! I took the pictures outside so you could really see the brightness of it and it started to rain!

I really like this! I really love the shine and the brightness of it. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was great and it dried quickly. What do you think, is it too bright or are you tired of orange?
