Lucky Lucky Lavender ~ OPI

Happy Friday!!
Lucky Lucky Lavender is one that I picked up recently. When this came out in the OPI Hong Kong Collection I wasn’t interested in it. I think maybe because I was into Do You Lilac It (which I think is the best pedi color ever!) and I thought it was about the same. Well, I have found out it really isn’t. It is more in between a pink and lavender.

This is a nice color but in certain light it looks really pink, I would prefer more purple. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was really good and it dried quickly. What do you think, more pink or purple?

Smoke And Ashes ~China Glaze

Hey,
Today I have from China Glaze’s Hunger Games Capitol Collection; Smoke and Ashes. I was so excited to get this one because it looks so pretty in the bottle. This is a dark gray base with blue, gold, and green flecks. After applied it looks like a black lacquer.
Take A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. It was a nice formula and it dried quickly. I do have to say although this is pretty I am a little disappointed. I thought it would have a lot more shimmer than it did because of the way it looks in the bottle! I still like it though! Do you have this, were you disappointed?

Sorry for the late post today!
I have been trying to wear this one for a while. First I couldn’t find it, and then I found it and when I got it home I couldn’t open the bottle. I had to have my husband open it and when he did, it was half gone and thick. So I took it back and got another one!
I was excited to wear it because I got a cute Tiffany bracelet for Valentine’s Day and I wanted to compare it.
Here it is:

I like the color a lot and I think it is very close to the Tiffany box and bracelet. I do have to say that this was the worse lacquer formula that I have had in a long time! It was so runny that I couldn’t control the application. It took forever for it to dry too! You may be able to tell by the pictures that it started to chip and peel from my nails. Its chipped by the cuticles, tips and the sides. After I took the pictures I pulled it off my nails! I am so sad. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. Maybe I can buy this color in another brand? Do you like this?

Bronzed To Perfection~ OPI

Happy Friday!
Today I have an odd color lacquer for me at least.  I wouldn’t have normally purchased this one unless it was on sale. It was on sale so here it is.
Bronzed To Perfection is not bronze to me but more of a rust. The base is rust with gold shimmer.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat.  The formula was good and it dried quickly. I have to say I really don’t like it. Not my favorite color for me! Maybe it just doesn’t look good on me and maybe it looks better on others. Do you own this one and how does it look on you?
I have mentioned before that I love Disney and Mickey is my favorite so I have a picture of a cute little bracelet of Mickey heads that  I got as a gift from Disneyland.

Glam N Up ~ Confetti

Hi All,
Today I have a $2 lacquer that I found at CVS. This is my first one and it must be very popular because there were only about 10 bottles left in the display. This was the only color I liked that was left.
Glam N Up is a purple base with gold shimmer. When it’s on your nails it looks burgundy. It’s pretty.

Take A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. It’s a good color but for some reason I'm not feeling it. My only complaint about this lacquer is that it chipped very easily after it was completely dried! I hate that! Have you tried this brand yet?

Opi Ink Suede ~ Blue Monday

Hello,
It’s Blue Monday!  I love blue lacquer! This time I have Ink Suede by OPI a shimmery blue/purple lacquer. This is an old favorite of mine. It’s so pretty!

I am wearing 2 coats and no top coat. The formula was great and it dried quickly. I like this one because it looks different in all lighting! Sometimes shiny, sometimes suede, sometimes dark, sometimes blue and sometimes purple. I also got a lot of compliments. What do you think, still like or tired of it?

Fresh Frog Of Bel Air ~ OPI ~ St Patrick’s Day Mani

Happy Friday,
And happy St Patrick’s Day tomorrow! Now this is a St Patrick’s Day mani to me: Fresh Frog Of Bel Air! I’ve been saving this lacquer just for this. I really wasn’t feeling this as a holiday color, why I don’t know.
Fresh Frog Of Bel Air is a clear base with a lot of small bright green glitter running through it with larger hexagon silver glitter. It is so pretty and shiny.
Take a look:

This formula is great! It dried very quickly. I am wearing 3 coats because I really love this glitter and I really want it to show and shine. I think this is a great St Patrick’s Day color. What do you think, holiday or St Patrick’s Day?

Who The Shrek Are You? ~ OPI

Hi Everyone,
Today I thought I would have a St Patrick’s Day manicure with OPI’s Who The Shrek Are You but although in person it looks like a green it is not. I bought this in December when it was on clearance and I thought I would try it.
Spring green is what I thought this would be. I really can’t describe this color other than maybe old dried up split pea soup.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. This went on nicely and dried well. I just don’t like it. YUK! What do you think yay or nay?
