Angel Rain ~ Orly ~ Blue Monday

 

It's Blue Monday!

Angel Rain is from the new Orly’s Surreal Collection. Orly calls it a light blue duo chrome but to me its iridescent that flashes purple. Just looking at the bottle I thought it was a frost and I almost didn’t buy it. I am so glad I did because this is one of my favorite lacquers of the year! So gorgeous!!!

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. When I thought  it was a frost I was sure I would need to have 3 coats. The formula and the brush were great and it dried fast. I just love it! I don't see duo chrome, do you?

Nail Stickers ~ Dollar Store Find

 

Yay its Friday!

These skull nail stickers were so cute and only a dollar so why not? There are 20 in the package but the sizes weren’t the right sizes for me so I could only do one hand because I had to use 3 of the same size on my fingers.

I had a hard time getting these to fit and smooth out. I wore them for 1 day and after a few ours the tips wore. The pictures above were after 1 day of wear. Too bad these didn’t work out because they are very cute. I do have a more expensive pair that I need to try to see if those work better. Have you ever worn nails stickers?

Sparkling Garbage ~ Orly

 

Hi,

Sparkling Garbage is from Orly’s Mash Up collection and it is one of my top picks for 2013. I don’t know what I was thinking waiting so long to wear it! It is a aquamarine green jelly base with a ton of holographic glitter!! Gorgeous!!

I am wearing 3 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was great and it dried quickly. The photos really don’t do this justice or catch the beauty of it. I just love it! I am sure most will use this to layer. Do you layer a lot?

Song ~ Zoya ~ Blue Monday

 

It’s Blue Monday!

Song is from Zoya’s Diva Collection. I don’t know why I haven’t worn this before? It is a blue base with blue and silver micro glitter. Zoya calls the finish a foil but I didn’t really see that.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. This would be fine as a 1 coater.  The formula was very good and it dried fairly quickly. This is such a nice blue! It has a lot of shine but a foil?  Is this a foil?

Vio-Let’s Talk About Red ~ Nicole By OPI

This one is from the untrieds! Nicole By OPI’s Vio-Lets Talk About Red is a violet with purple micro glitter shimmer. It’s pretty but a little boring.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I think maybe I could have used another coat. I take my pictures in the natural light and don’t do touch ups and you can see a little bit of red which makes it pretty. Is this boring?

Pussy Galore ~ OPI ~ Bond Girls

 

Hello!
I have another liquid sand to share. Pussy Galore is from OPI’s Bond Girls Collection. It’s a light pink with a little bit of shimmer but to me it’s more of a pearl finish then a shimmer.

I am wearing base coat and 2 coats of polish. The formula was good and it dried quickly.  I think this is pretty but it’s my least favorite so far of the liquid sands/textured lacquers because it’s so mundane. If it was a little bit brighter or had a little more shimmer I would like it better. So like it or love it?

Pretty Ugly ~Orly ~ Blue Monday

 

Hi,

It’s Blue Monday and Orly’s Pretty Ugly! I have no idea where they got this name because it is anything but ugly! It’s a powder blue with aquamarine shimmer from the Orly’s Mash Up Collection.

I am wearing 3 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I had to put on 3 coats to get it opaque. The formula was great and it dried pretty quickly. I have heard a lot of people complaining about Orly's “new bottle” and how they don’t like it but I found it fine and the brush was good.  This is one of my favorite lacquer colors this year, I love it! What do you think about this color and the new bottle?

Anti-Bleak ~ OPI

Anti-Bleak is from OPI’s Mariah Carey’s collection.  This one is a purple crème. To me it’s a slightly reddish purple crème.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was nice and it dried quickly.  I have to say I am a little disappointed with this lacquer because it looks like an Nicole By OPI lacquer Vio-lets Talk About Red that I just wore and will post soon. It is about the same color but with shimmer. I am sure there are more dupes. It is pretty but just boring.  What so you think? Boring or done before?

I Saw U Saw We Saw Warsaw ~ OPI ~18K gold ~ Sephora ~Blue Monday

Its Blue Monday again! I don’t know what took me so long to wear this one! I Saw U Saw We Saw Warsaw is from OPI’s Euro Collection. It's a deep midnight blue crème. I have also been holding on to my real 18K gold top coat. So I put them together.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of 18K top coat. Both formulas were great and dried quickly.  I really like this blue but it’s a little boring. I really love the 18K gold top coat! It is so cool to know that you are wearing real gold on your nails! This has to be one of my favorite top coats. What is your favorite top coat?
