Seeing Stars ~ Wet N Wild~ Adhesive Nail Art

Happy Halloween!

I have always wanted to try some type of instant nail covering so when I saw these cute little inexpensive stars I thought I would try them. They were $3.00 and let me say that you get what you pay for but they are fun for 1 day. Sorry my pictures aren’t good, I was having camera issues.

These were like foil with a lot of shine. I could only wear these for 1 day before they started to come up on the tips. I think it was all the hand washing and lotion. Still they were a lot of fun. Which instant manicures/nail covers have you tried?

Bluey ~ Butter London ~ Blue Monday

 

It’s Blue Monday!

I know I haven’t had a lot of luck with Butter London but I saw Bluey and had to have it! Let me start off by saying I had success because I changed my base coat to Orly’s Bonder and it worked! No chipping!

Bluey is almost a teal with lots of shimmer! I love it!

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. It was so shimmery that it was hard to take pictures! Usually Butter London chips immediately on me but Bonder really helped. What is your favorite base coat?
*** Update` I forgot to say that I wore this 2 days before I took the pictures!

Charla ~ Zoya~ Blue Monday

 

Hi,

It’s Blue Monday! I have Charla from Zoya. This is one of the prettiest blues with lots of shimmer! It is a light blue base with green micro shimmer. It reminds me of the ocean or a mermaid blue.

I am wearing 3 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was nice and it dried quickly. I really like this metallic shimmer that it has. What is your favorite metallic shimmer?

Riotously Pink ~OPI~ Take Two

I thought I would try another mini from the OPI Outrageous Neons Collection. I really have been loving all the neon collections this year and really wanted to try it again especially after I paid $19.99 for the collection. I reviewed Seriously Purple back in July and the results weren’t good. Sorry to say it’s the same for Riotously Pink!

For this collection they want you to put on a white base coat and then 2 coats of lacquer. Well again I had to put on more than 2 coats of lacquer! I had to put 4 and it still doesn’t look good! I think the white base is the problem, it makes it streak and its hard to cover. I also put on 1 coat of top coat. I do love this color though. Sorry but I was so disappointed at the way it turned out I didn’t do any clean up because I knew I would take it off after I took pictures. Has anyone had this problem with neons?

Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue ~ OPI ~ Blue Monday

 

Hi All,

It’s Blue Monday! I have a metallic blue from OPI’s Germany Collection. OPI's Unfor-Gre-Bly Blue is very shiny and mid-tone blue. It’s so pretty! Maybe this should go on my top 10 for 2012 list?

Plum Startled ~ Finger Paints

 

Hi,

Finger Paints Plum Startled is definitely going on my top 10 of 2012 list! Plum Startled is a grape jelly base (thats funny!) with pink and blue microshimmer. I just love this.
