Number One Nemesis ~ Shatter The Scales ~ OPI

Hey All,
I have a couple more from the OPI Spiderman Collection. Number One Nemesis is a pretty and different graphite. It’s a gray base with gold, olive, and silver micro glitter. I like this one but it’s hard to capture with a camera. Shatter The Scales is a hunter green shimmer shatter.
See what I mean:

I am wearing 2 coats and one coat of top coat. The formula was very nice and it dried quickly. It is very shiny.
Shatter The Scales:

I like this Shatter The Scales but I don't think I like it with Number One Nemesis and I don't think I will like it with anything in the Spiderman Collection. What do you think this shatter would go with? What do you think of these?

Smoke And Ashes ~China Glaze

Hey,
Today I have from China Glaze’s Hunger Games Capitol Collection; Smoke and Ashes. I was so excited to get this one because it looks so pretty in the bottle. This is a dark gray base with blue, gold, and green flecks. After applied it looks like a black lacquer.
Take A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. It was a nice formula and it dried quickly. I do have to say although this is pretty I am a little disappointed. I thought it would have a lot more shimmer than it did because of the way it looks in the bottle! I still like it though! Do you have this, were you disappointed?

Trafalgar Square ~ Nails Inc ~ Magnetic Polish

Hi Everyone,

No Blue Monday today but I am blue about this magnetic lacquer!
I got Nails Inc Trafalgar Square from my sister because I won’t pay more than $8 for a lacquer, anything more than that is just too much!

It was so nice of her to get it for me! So late last night I decided to try it and was already to paint my nails and I opened up the directions on the lid and guess what? They were in French! It was after midnight and my laptop was downstairs so I didn’t go to the website and get the instructions! My sister told me when she gave me the lacquer that the girl at the store told her you put on a coat and wait a few seconds and then you put on the second coat and quickly use the magnet. That’s what I did and it really didn’t work and the next day I found out that those were the wrong directions.
The lid comes off and the magnet is on top with a lip that you put above your nail to keep it from hitting your nail. My pictures appear to be blurry but they really aren’t, that is how the lacquer looks.

See what you think:

Let me say this was kind of hard to do. I kept hitting my nails with the magnet and the magnet didn’t work on my entire nail as you can see on one of my nails it only worked on half. I found out after I went to the Nails Inc website that you put a coat on and let it dry a couple of minutes and then put the 2nd coat on and then quickly use the magnet. Even so I think this will take some practice to get this looking good and not hitting the magnet on your nail. I don't know if I am into this magnetic lacquer trend.
I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. Is this magnetic lacquer for you or not? Do you have any tips on using it?

Mirror Mirror ~ Orly

Hi Everyone,

Today I have another lacquer from the untrieds; Orly’s Mirror Mirror from their Once Upon A Time collection.
Ready for some honesty? It is a gray crème. Let me just say I don’t know why I bought this or where I got it from but, I really don’t like it! It looks like the color of the sidewalk! What was I thinking when I bought this and now I know why it was in the untrieds – Yuk!

See what I mean:

I had a hard time even finding pictures that I liked to post but I did find 4 that were kind of ok to post. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. It was not a very good formula either! It was really runny! I think this looks terrible on me and my olive skin. I think if it had a little bit of shimmer it would be ok? Maybe one of you will like it and it looks good on you. What do you think, is this the sidewalk or is it pretty?

OPI ~ I Vant To Be A-Lone Star

Hi My Lacquer Loving Friends,
Yes, I know this one has been out since spring but, I haven't been feeling it every time I looked at the bottle. It looked like your typical boring gray but boy was I wrong! I Vant To Be A-Lone Star is one of the best sleepers of the year! It looks like a gray shimmer but when you put it on it is a very very pale baby blue with a silver shimmer.

Look and see what you think:

I am wearing just 2 coats but, maybe I should have put on 1 more to see what it would look like but I was happy with the 2. I also have on top coat. Do you have this one or which gray is your favorite?

LA Girl Rock Star – Supernova

Hey,
I have a LA Girl Rock Star Lacquer today called Supernova. This was given to me so this is the first time I have worn this brand. I checked out their website and they don't have store in my area that sells it.
This is a sheer gray base (although in the bottle it looks black) with long thin strings of holographic glitter.
Here are the pix:

I am wearing 3 coats and a top coat and you can see I probably could have put on more coats so it wouldn’t be so sheer. I think this is probably better as a layering lacquer. I thought because it was so dark in the bottle that it could be used on its own. It was also a little thin when applying but it dried fast. It is nice though, have you ever worn this brand?

I just love hearts and stars. My birthday was last month and this is one of my gifts: It’s a pink heart ring with a halo around the heart. It is good for a pinkie ring but it fits on my ring finger too! I think it is so cute I had to share.

Nicole By OPI Nicole's Nickel

Hey Lacquer Lovers,
Happy Friday! I have a Target exclusive lacquer for you Nicole's Nickel. It is a glitter. It has a shimmery light gray base with silver glitter and what is good about the glitter is that it isn't too large. This would be a nice lacquer to wear to a party.

Nicole's Nickel:

I do have to say I like this but, I did notice that my nails chipped after 1 day. I don't know why but that is my only complaint. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. Do you like this one?

Orly Mineral FX Part II? Orly Rock Solid

Hey All,
Sorry for the delay in the Part II of the Orly Mineral collection. I did post Stone Cold on Blue Monday last week so; I’m not doing too badly. After this one I will only have 1 more to post because I didn't get Rock It but maybe I will get it?

Today I have Rock Solid. This one is a shimmery charcoal gray with a holographic shimmer (looks like multicolored flecks of glitter). It’s actually a prismatic micro-shimmer because it flashes multi-colors and reflects light. WOW, this one is really hard to describe but let’s go with: its gorgeous!

Here it is:

This last one was taken with a flash so you can get a better look at the multi-colored flecks of glitter.

I could wear this every other week. It is glittery with the inside light or in the sun. It's nice everywhere. I really love this one! So far I'm really impressed with this collection.
As usual I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. Isn’t it addicting?
