I Saw U Saw We Saw Warsaw ~ OPI ~18K gold ~ Sephora ~Blue Monday

Hi,
Its Blue Monday again! I don’t know what took me so long to wear this one! I Saw U Saw We Saw Warsaw is from OPI’s Euro Collection. It's a deep midnight blue crème. I have also been holding on to my real 18K gold top coat. So I put them together.

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of 18K top coat. Both formulas were great and dried quickly.  I really like this blue but it’s a little boring. I really love the 18K gold top coat! It is so cool to know that you are wearing real gold on your nails! This has to be one of my favorite top coats. What is your favorite top coat?

Golden Eye ~ OPI ~ SKYFALL 007

About the unplanned Blog Break
Sorry for being MIA for a couple of months.  While I was gone I never once stopped loving nail polish or my blog!!
I wrote last September that my sister was very ill. Sadly when it became clear in December that she wouldn’t make it, I had to spend every minute I could with her which unfortunately meant Lacquer Nirvana was neglected.
I don’t want this to be a sad post/blog so I will now continue to share my love of lacquer, cupcakes, and glitter in her honor, she loved them too!
I am still getting used to my new camera! This polish was one of her favorites!
Golden Eye is a clear base with small shimmery gold glitter! It almost looks like a foil. So gorgeous!!

It was a little hard to get a good pic of this because of all the glitter and working with a new camera. I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I really love this! It is so shimmery and glittery. I would wear this one year round.
What do you think too much glitter to wear year round?

Just Spotted The Lizard~ OPI

Hi,
Just Spotted The Lizard is from the Amazing Spider Man collection. It is a gold/green metallic duo chrome. It is very pretty and shimmery!

Take A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was really nice, it went on smoothly. One thing is that it looks greener in the bottle but on it is more gold. It is so pretty and shimmery! What is your favorite duo chrome?

Fly With Me ~ Color Club

Happy Friday!
This is another lacquer from my favorite collection from Color Club Take Wing!! Fly with me is hard one to describe. It looks spring green in the bottle but on my nails it looks green/gold! It’s a light yellow base with green and gold glass flecks.
Take A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was great and it wore along time with no chipping problems. I really love this Color Club collection. The colors say summer but they have a lot of sparkle/shimmer! Just what I love! Usually summer colors are crèmes. What do you wear more of in the summer, crèmes, shimmers, or glitters?

Ultamate Holiday ~ China Glaze ~ New Year's Mani

Happy New Year All,

I hope 2012 will be a great year for everyone! I went to Ulta the other day to return a Christmas gift and saw 2 lacquers that I didn’t know anything about; China Glaze Ulta Exclusives. There are 3 of them but I only bought 2, the one I didn’t get was a bronze. It was pretty but for some reason I put it back.

The one today is Ultamate Holiday, pretty good name for an Ulta exclusive. It is a bright yellow/gold holographic lacquer. I think this is perfect for New Year's Eve or New Year's Day.

Check it out:

I really think this one is so pretty! It looks so good outside but also it shimmers the rainbow in the inside light or just in the T.V. light! I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was so nice it went on so smooth and it dried very quickly. I have been wearing it for 2 days and it is wearing very well. I usually have problems with China Glaze chipping on me.
If you want this one, I would run out to Ulta and get it. At my local store they had plenty. What do you think, is it more yellow or gold?

LA Girl Rock Star ~ Addict

Hi Everyone,
LA Girl Rock Star Addict is a sheer red/mulberry base or almost a jelly base with gold micro-glitter. This a very holiday lacquer. It looks like it would be dark because of the way it looks in the bottle but, it really is very sheer.

Look and see:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I really wasn’t that happy with the outcome. I could barely see the gold. I can see the gold better in the bottle than I do on my nails. I am not “addicted” to it at all. It’s nice but I don’t know if I will ever wear this one again, I think I might have something similar in OPI that you can see the gold in and the base is a darker red. What do you think Yea or Nay?

Wallis ~ Butter London

Hey Everybody,
This has been in my untrieds for awhile. When it first came out it was so popular a lot of the bloggers were posting it around the same time but, I waited until I was feeling it and wanted to wear it.
Wallis is an olive green base with more of a metal/metallic gold micro-glitter.

Take a look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. It applied very well and dried quickly. On it looks olive green but in the light it also looks gold. I got a lot of good feedback from random people who just happened to see my nails and I got a couple of comments from a few that didn’t like it at all. I like it. Do you have this and love it or are you over it?

Gettin' Miss Piggy With It ~ OPI Muppets ~ OPI Gold Shatter

Happy Friday,
I have a lacquer today from the glamorous Miss Piggy. This one is a bright red glitter. Getting’ Miss Piggy With It is a clear base with small red glitter and large silver and red hexagon glitter.
Before we start let me warn you that I really broke my nail down low and on an angle! I could not repair it. Hopefully it will grow back quickly!
  Here it is:

I am wearing just 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. I think maybe I should have applied another coat. I like this and its fun but, I think next time I would wear it over something.

Since I had this on and it’s the holiday season I put the gold shatter over it. This was the first time I have tried the gold.

Shattered?

I like the thought of gold shatter but I really didn’t like the way it went on. It really didn’t shatter. It really only worked on 2 nails and my nails were completely dry, I did them the night before and then decided to put on the shatter. What do you think?
