Black Pixel ~ Orly

Yay its Friday!
When I saw Orly’s Black Pixel in the bottle I thought it was so pretty! I didn’t realize it was textured, there were no special instructions. It’s a black  that is loaded with silver micro glitter that looks gold sometimes in the light.
Take A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats with 1 coat of top coat. I put top coat on because it wasn’t that textured and I didn’t like it without top coat. I still really don’t like it with top coat either. I don’t know why, it’s just boring. Do you like it or is it boring?

Blackened Bleu ~ Barielle ~ Blue Monday

Hey,
It’s Blue Monday! Today its Barielle Blackened Bleu. This is the first time I have ever worn Barielle polish. Blackened Bleu is a jelly black base with lots of bright blue glitter.

I am wearing 3 coats of polish and 1 coat of top coat. It is pretty but the formula was the worst I have ever used!!! It was like painting with water! I couldn’t get it to cover my tips at all. I am very disappointed in it. I bought about 5 bottles and I hope the others aren’t like this too. Have you had this problem before or do you have any tips for applying it?

Stay The Night ~ OPI

Happy Friday!
Stay The Night is from Mariah Carey’s collection, I would have posted it earlier but I thought that I did. Oops! It’s  a liquid sand that is a black base with pink shimmer but when mixed with the black to me it looks more red.

I am wearing 2 coats over one coat of base. The formula was good and it dried fairly quickly.  I think this is my least favorite liquid sand. It is only because I think it is boring. I think that this would be best worn for Halloween. What do you think, Halloween or all the time?

Gothic Crown ~ Mode

Hi!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was good with a lot of family in town!
Today I have a polish that I got for a gift from New Zealand; Mode’s Gothic Crown. I love the name! It’s a black base with silver micro glitter. So shimmery!
What Do You Think?

I am wearing 2 coats and one coat of top coat. It dried quickly and the formula was great. This is available online from Mode’s website. What is your favorite brand of lacquer not made in your country?

Black Knight ~ Butter London

Hi!
I was so excited when I saw Butter London’s Black Knight I just had to have it. It is a black base with black, pink, blue, and silver glitter in it.
Take A Look:

I am wearing 3 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was alright, it was a little thick. Although I like this lacquer I am a little disappointed. I thought it would have a lot more shimmer and shine from all the glitter that is in it. Another thing I didn’t like was that it chipped the first day. It happens a lot when I wear this brand. Is it my base coat? Do you have any tips you can share?

Can’t Be Tamed ~ Orly

Hi,
Can’t Be Tamed is from Orly’s Flash Glam FX Collection that came out a couple of weeks ago. They are all glitters. There are supposed to be 22 in the collection but so far just 5 have been released. Orly suggests that you layer them over black.
I only bought one to try because honestly I have a lot of glitter lacquers and none of these really stood out as unique or different from what has been out already. This one is a clear base with shiny purple glitter with small shiny silver glitter.  I layered mine over OPI’s Black Onyx.
See:

I am wearing 2 coats of Black Onyx, 2 coats of Can't Be Tamed, and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was great. It was very shiny too. I like this lacquer but as I said before this has been done. These are also expensive, $10.00. Hopefully they will have more unique lacquers in the next release. What do you think, have you seen these done before?

The Parking Meteor Expired~ Spoiled Wet N Wild ~ Blue Monday

Hi,
It’s Blue Monday!!I think this one qualifies! The Parking Meteor Expired by Spoiled/Wet N Wild is a black base with blue and teal micro glitter. It looks blue or teal in the bottle but on it looks more black with blue flecks. It’s pretty.

See:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was good but it could have dried a little bit faster for me. It wore for a long time and didn’t chip. This is one of the best lacquers for $1.99. If you see it pick it up because they go quickly. What is your favorite inexpensive lacquer?

Smoke And Ashes ~China Glaze

Hey,
Today I have from China Glaze’s Hunger Games Capitol Collection; Smoke and Ashes. I was so excited to get this one because it looks so pretty in the bottle. This is a dark gray base with blue, gold, and green flecks. After applied it looks like a black lacquer.
Take A Look:

I am wearing 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. It was a nice formula and it dried quickly. I do have to say although this is pretty I am a little disappointed. I thought it would have a lot more shimmer than it did because of the way it looks in the bottle! I still like it though! Do you have this, were you disappointed?

Metallic 4 Life ~ OPI Nicki Minaj Collection

Happy Friday,

I’m very excited about this next lacquer Metallic 4 Life. It has all of my favorites; black and glitter. I wore black lacquer before it was in style and people thought I was crazy but I loved it!
OPI calls Metallic 4 Life a charcoal sparkle. It is if you only put on 1 coat. It is a charcoal base with different shapes and sizes of glitter but, if you put on at least 2 coats it is black.

Take A Look:

I am wearing just 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. The formula was great and it dried quickly. It was a little hard to get a picture because the silver glitter was just sparkling! That’s way so many pictures; I want to make sure you can see it somewhat clear. Don’t you just love it?
